The CD1 test mill makes it possible to obtain a wheat milling representative of industrial milling.

The CD1 test mill comprises 2 parts:
- a grinding part passing between 3 grooved rollers
- a conversion part passing between 2 smooth rollers 

After each grinding and conversion process, the obtained product passes through a centrifugal sifter to grade particles.
